The Village of Newark, the Greater Newark Chamber of Commerce, Wayne County, and the Wayne County Farm Bureau are excited to announce Taste of Wayne County 2022. Mark your calendars for the 5th Taste of Wayne County to be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 4:30 to 8:30 PM along Van Buren Street and in T. Spencer Knight Canal Park in Newark.  Food-related businesses from around Wayne County will be offering samples of signature dishes, food products or beverages. 


Presale tickets will be available online only, with 600 $10 tickets available.  Sampling tickets will also be available at the gate for $1 each, with a minimum purchase of 5 tickets.

The Apple Shed

The Apple Shed and Old Goat Cidery are joining TOWC for the fourth straight year.  With the cafe not opening until August, Old Goat cider will be featured at TOWC.


Karma's Cruizin' Cafe

Karma's will attend TOWC for the first time this year with the food truck; Karma's also has a physical location at 8495 Ridge Rd. in Alton (Sodus address).


Erie Shore Landing

Located along VanBuren Street facing the canal in Newark, Erie Shore Landing opened in 2019 and features a from-scratch cafe' and an ice cream shop.


Dandy Sandy's Sweets

Taste of Wayne County 2019 again offers the opportunity to try Dandy Sandy's, frozen cheesecake on a stick! Dandy Sandy is from Lyons.


Syrup A' LaRue

Syrup A' LaRue is joining TOWC for the first time in 2021.  Syrup A'LaRue makes delicious treats from sap harvested both Wayne and Ontario!  Come see what they have to offer.

Country Patch Canning

A Marion couple has perfected recipes for salsa and other condiments and established Country Patch Canning to market them. 

Young Sommer Winery

Young Sommer Winery of Williamson, joins the event for the third year. The Youngs will sample several wines as well as hard cider.  Young Sommer Winery registered then had a conflict arise, so they will not attend TOWC21 - but they'll be back in 2022!


WC Dairy Princesses

Representing the dairy industry of Wayne County is what the Dairy Princesses do, they will be on hand again at TOWC21 offering milk samples!


Colloca Estate Winery

Colloca Estate Winery sits on property that straddles the Wayne County line in Fairhaven.  A part of the Lake Ontario Wine Trail, Colloca will come to TOWC for the first time in 2021.


Nana's Village Restaurant

Nana's was named Best of Taste of Wayne County in 2018 and 2019, Mary and crew are sure put out an impressive spread again in 2021.


Pop's House of Country Collectibles

Pop's House, located in Sodus Point, joins TOWC for the again this year, offering samples of Ruth's delicious pies and casseroles.


Spunk Fitness

Spunk Fitness, located in Newark, joins TOWC again this year to with samplings of their post-workout smoothies!

Monterrey Mexican

Monterrey Mexican Restaurant in Newark will be offering samples at this years' event.
