ABOUT TASTE OF WAYNE COUNTY
The Village of Newark, the Greater Newark Chamber of Commerce and the Wayne County Farm Bureau are excited to announce Taste of Wayne County 2025. Mark your calendars for the 8th Taste of Wayne County to be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 4:30 to 8:00 PM along Van Buren Street and in T. Spencer Knight Canal Park in Newark. Food-related businesses from around Wayne County will be offering samples of signature dishes, food products or beverages. Cooper Scotti will perform live during the event.

Presale tickets are currently available online and will be available one week ahead of the event at the Newark Welcome Center from 8am-Noon on the corner of Van Buren Street and East Avenue.
Event tickets include 15 sample tickets, an event glass and an event utensil:

At event: $20
Individual sample tickets will be available at the event for $2.00 each ($1.00 if you purchased a full event ticket and need a few extras), but will not come with an event glass.

Sugar and Slice opened in Newark shortly after TOWC 2022, making 2025 their fourth appearance at the event! From sweet treats to pizza, they have something for everyone!

Fair-style lemonade is so refreshing! Come try out this local company's fresh squeezed goodness at TOWC 2025!

One Day at a Time Cookery - Steady Work
In 2024, STEADY Work launched a new Meals To Go Program in Lyons at the Lyons Community Center Lions Den Cafe. Meals are made by STEADY Work youth in the Meals to Go Program with the help of an experienced crew leader.


The More The Marion
New to TOWC in 2025, The More the Marion offers a variety of goodies from local honey and to fresh baked sourdough goods!

Penguin Pastures
Penguin Pastures, located in Sodus, is a small family farm providing our community with fresh fruits, veggies, jams/jellies, baked goods, farm fresh turkey, chicken and duck eggs as well as meat.
Scrumptchies Village Bakery and Cafe, located on Main Street in Sodus will join TOWC for the first time in 2025!
Jam Sessions, based in Lyons, makes an assortment of jarred goodies, pies and baked goods. They are joining TOWC for the first time in 2025!
Catch L.E.O.S Snacks and Salads in person at local farmers markets and pick up a fresh and delicious side for your next meal! L.E.O.S. is back for a second TOWC in 2025!
Located on Main Street in Palmyra, The Hog and Hen offers an elevated dining experience with variety of chef curated, from scratch, dishes. This will be the Hog & Hen's first TOWC!
